#SFB360 Rules

Tentative 2015 Rules

  • I made it as easy as possible and it should take very little effort in season.
  • The drafts start July 6th, 2014 at noon EST and will hopefully be done before August so that everyone can focus on their other leagues and August website content.
  • It will be a slow draft style played on MyFantasyLeague.com.

Basic Rules

  • 360 Teams (240 Analysts and 120 Fans)
  • 30 leagues (divisions) of 12 teams (Likely 8 analysts and 4 fans per division)
  • 6 conferences

  • 22 round slow draft.
  • Start: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 4 Flex (can flex 1 QB) - (11 Total)
  • Bench: 11 players
  • No Kickers or Defenses
  • No Trading Allowed
  • Waivers: $100 Blind Bidding

Scoring

  • Scoring is fractional (meaning 4 yards rushing = .4 points, 1 yard passing = .04 points, etc)

    Passing:

    • 4 point passing TD,
    • 1 point for 25 yards passing,
    • 2 points for 2 point conversions

    Rushing:

    • 6 point rushing TD,
    • 1 point for 10 yards rushing,
    • 2 points for 2 point conversions
    • .25 points per attempt

    Receiving:

    • 6 point receiving TD,
    • 1 point for 10 yards receiving,
    • 2 points for 2 point conversions,
    • 1 point per reception.

    Returns:

    • 6 point for any return TD
    • 6 points if your player recovers a ball in the endzone for a TD

Time Expiration IN DRAFT

  • Time limit. It is 8 hours and is shut off overnight from 12PM EST to 6AM EST. If you let your clock expire, NFL Draft rule applies. Your pick will be skipped. Owners picking after you may make selections. You may make your selection at any time by contacting the commissioner with your pick. If you near timeout in the first round I will attempt to contact you. If you don't pick or respond I will assume you didn't show and may replace you.
  • If you let the clock expire a second time, the commissioner reserves the right to replace you.

INACTIVITY

  • If you miss setting your lineup twice, the commissioner reserves the right to replace you.
  • If you don't login to the site in over 14 days (meaning 14 days and 1 minute or more)... the commissioner reserves the right to replace you. You will get an email if you haven't logged in in over 10 days.
  • PLAYOFF INACTIVITY - If you fail to set a lineup in the first week of the playoffs, the team with the most points that did not make the playoffs in that conference or division will replace you and you be booted from the playoffs.

Waiver Moves Once eliminated

  • If your team has been eliminated from playing in all brackets, you are not allowed to make waiver moves.

Setting Lineups

  • If you do not set a lineup for week 1 before kickoff on Sunday, the commish will set a lineup for that team (based on fantasypros rankings) and replace the owner.
  • Lineups will rollover this year from week to week. However, to keep the integrity of the league and make sure everyone is active, you must login to the MFL site at least once every 10 days. You will be emailed if you exceed 10 days on the "Franchise Activity" module on MFL. Multiple occurances or failure to respond to an emailed reminder by logging into the site prior to the following weeks games could result in removal from the league. I will set the lineup of an inactive team to keep the league competitive until I can find a replacement or touch base.

SFB Playoff Rules

The Playoff Tournament!!!

If you haven't played before, you are probably confused on how this 360 team thing works!!!

Each Conference has 60 teams. 30 will make the playoffs. The team with the best record, THEN the team with the most points in each division will receive a bye (10 teams). After that there will be 20 wild card teams that play week 13. The 20 wild card teams will be comprised of all teams with 8 wins or more. After those teams are in, the remainder of the 20 spots are based on points.

Playoffs will run during NFL weeks 13-16. Weeks 13,14, and 15 are conference play. Week 16 is the final between teams from all 6 conferences.

Conference example:

Week 13: The 20 wildcard teams in a conference will play. The top 10 point scoring teams advance. It is not head to head. The 10 highest scores advance. *TENTATIVELY NEW for 2015: WEEK 13 ONLY.... Your week 13 score will be your week 13 points PLUS your season average. This will help avoid a week 13 bad beat. This is not set in stone currently but a decision on this will be made prior to the drafts. You will be notified of my decision, possibly asked your opinion.

10 teams will have a bye in in week 13. These are given to the team with the best record in each division and the team with the top points in each division. Should this be the same team, the team with the 2nd most points in that division will receive the bye.

Week 14: The 10 teams that advanced from week 13 will square off against the 10 teams that received a bye. The 10 highest scores will advance.

Week 15: The 10 teams that advanced from week 14 will square off and the top point scorer will be crowned the conference winner.

Week 16: The top scoring team from week 15 (in each conference, 6 in total) will advance to the 10 team final. There will also be 4 teams that make the final that will be the 4 top scorers regardless of conference. The top score wins the tournament!!!

DIVISIONAL Playoff Rules

Each 12 team division is really a league. A league with some of the industries finest. It would be just wrong not to crown a winner of each of these "leagues." Divisional playoffs will run concurrent with the main tournament (NFL weeks 13-15).

The team with the top record and the team with the most points will receive byes (once again, if the top record is the team with the top points, the team with the 2nd most points will receive a bye). The four wildcard teams in each division will be decided by record, then total points.

Week 13: The four wildcard teams will play, the top two scores will advance. It is not head to head.
Week 14: The 2 teams with byes and the two teams that advanced from Week 13 will play. The top two scores will advance to the final.
Week 15: The remaining two teams will play for the crown!

2nd CHANCE DANCE Playoff Rules

New for 2015

Week 13: The top 2 point scoring teams from each conference that missed the big tournament will play in a one round chance to gain entry into the big tournament. The top score of the 12 will enter the big tournament as an extra team in their conferences playoffs.

Why such a big bench, no kickers, no defenses, and no trading, etc?

Many of us have a lot of leagues. This one is designed so that it takes less effort each week than your other leagues. With deep benches, the waiver wire will be less intensive. Without K or D, you won't have to worry about getting them for your bye weeks. Also, they are a little annoying to me. Without trading, all that energy can be spent on your other leagues and there will be no chance of collusion.

BEST INTEREST CLAUSE

(Or, In case I forgot some things)

Should circumstances, issues, or problems arise for which a remedy is not stated in the Rules... the Commissioner reserves the right to take whatever actions he deems necessary in the best interest of the league. He may consult with some or all other owners and/or possibly take a vote.
